Song: Cleopatra's Bath - From Asterix and Cleopatra soundtrack
That's the first song, just before the Gauls arrive in Alexandria. We get to meet Cleopatra's lion, a poor thing not very bright but quite funny. He suffers from an inferiority complex and feels he is neglected in favor of the of the sacred crocodiles (who gets to eat Cleopatra's enemies apparently).
Asterix and Cleopatra - When You're Eating Well You're Well Song - In French
Poor Obelix is tired of rice and lentils. He wants real food! Wild Boars and beer. Unfortunately, it will only be in his dream.
Gauls from far, sworn to destroy my power, I shall show you how a Queen can die. -Cleopatra
Asterix & Cleopatra: The Arsenic Cake Song - The villains song
Artifis and Krukhut (the arch-villains of the story) are trying to send Edifis to the sacred crocodiles. This time, they plan to poison Cleopatra with a magnificent cake and blame Edifis' Gaulish friends. Listen well to THE cult song. Very few cartoon songs have been this popular in France. The original French version, Le Pouding a l'Arsenic (see the original French version here), has been covered by many artists over the years including by the Canadian band "Les Colocs"
