BBC Comedies -- The Vicar of Dibley, Clatterford to Name a Few
The BBC is known for airing hilarious comedies. I am a big fan of some of these shows, mainly The Vicar of Dibley, Clatterford, and the funny bone stylings of Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French, who in one shape or another happen to star in the aforementioned BBC comedies.
If you're a fan of the American version of The Office, check out Ricky Gervais, the originator of this comedy show from the BBC.

Dawn French is Hilarious as the Vicar.
The Vicar of Dibley is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Dawn French actually plays the "straight man" in this show to a bunch of villagers. Dibley is a tiny hamlet where French plays the vicar. Her parishioners keep her on her toes, for sure!
Faulty Towers
Basil Fawlty is played by John Cleese. He plays an obnoxious, rude man that is hilarious!

A town full of funny women (and my favorite BBC comedy)!
I heard about this show and when I watched it, wow, I was so thrilled I found it! The characters on this show are all just that: characters.
Jennifer Saunders plays a clueless rich woman and Dawn French is equally clueless, but in different ways. The Women's Guild holds meetings and events that are so important, to the Women's Guild. I first heard the term "Inter Web" from the ladies of the Guild.
The Office and Extras
Ricky Gervais
If you love the American version of The Office, you'll hoot at the British phenomenon. Ricky Gervais founded BBC's original version of The Office.
Doc Martin
What bedside manner?
Oh my gosh, Martin Clumes is hilarious as Doctor Martin Ellingham in the British comedy Doc Martin. If you've ever had a doctor like this, I'm sure you found a new doctor straight away, as the Brits say.
But watching this comedy, which also is a drama in many ways, is a delight!
