Bernie Mac Funeral Service 1957-2008
Washington Memory Gardens Cemetery, 701 Ridge Road, Homewood, Illinois, 60430, Cook County, Illinois, USA.
A funeral service for comedian Bernie Mac was conducted Saturday, August 16th. King of Comedy, Bernie Mac, passed away early Saturday morning, August 9, 2008 at a Chicago hospital with complications related to pneumonia.
Bernie Mac joins the tragic list of brilliant comedians like Chris Farley, Phil Hartman, Andy Kauffman and John Belushi, funny men whose lives have been cut short in their prime. Mac was best known for his weekly television show the Bernie Mac show and his movie appearances in Ocean's 13, Charlie's Angels and more.
Bernie Mac is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Rhonda and his daughter, Je'Niece. The comedian is said to have wooed his wife by saying "Girl, you better come on board this train, because I'm going to be rich." Bernie Mac went on to charm the rest of America and his beaming smile and sharp wit will be greatly missed.

We have the chance to enjoy one final performance with Bernie Mac singing with Samuel L Jackson in Soul Men. Apparently the pair do their own singing, playing bickering back-up singers who get back together for a reunion concert. No announcements have been made about pushing out the release date.
