Best Animated Movies from Disney Pixar
Pixar Animated Movies to watch with your children
Pixar has produced some of the most memorable animated movies but there are three movies that stand out and have stood the test of time.
These are movies that can be watched over and over again and each film has a positive message to send to children. It's a movie that's interesting enough for adults to watch with their children.
The three movies I've chosen to be the best all have notable stars doing the voices for the characters. This is an added interest for us adults.
With so many content available to children it's nice to know that there are quality movies such as the ones below that teach a lesson in the midst of the fun.
Toy Story was the first outing of Pixar films and it made a significant impression. The storyline alone already keeps you enthralled. The thought that toys might be real is a fascinating idea. Whether you're old or young you'll wonder what if...
There have been three installments so far to the Toy Story series and I'm just one among the many that are hoping for another one.
Children are taught how to care for their toys and be sensitive to other's feelings. The friendship between the toys is also another positive influence as it focuses on the importance of real friends who are with you through good and bad.
These are concepts that children easily pick up on but Toy Story lays it out in a way that they can understand and absorb.
It also keeps the interest in classic toys alive. A cowboy doll, Etch-a-Sketch, Barbie doll, Mr. Potato Head are all childhood favorites.
Hilarity is at it's best and to say that for an animated movie is saying alot. It's quite hard to retain an adult's attention when it comes to cartoons but Finding Nemo does its magic.
Ellen DeGeneres played a big part in keeping the movie funny and upbeat. The countless exceptional themes in the movie make it an excellent watch.
It also gives children the opportunity to imagine the underwater sea life. As I watched this with my children I learned a lot of small details that are just nuggets of facts that are nice to know.
It's also an endearing film as the movie's thrust is the love of a father and his search for his son. Having Dory along for the ride just makes the moments light enough.
I also found the shark scene pretty funny. I think you'll get a kick out of it, too.
What's the best Disney Pixar movie for you?
If the boogey man were real would he be a monster in disguise? That's a great story line. This movie will help children overcome their fears of the unknown most especially those that they think are waiting for them at night as they go to sleep.
Mike and Sully are a funny duo and the slapstick and humor make for a perfect mix. The idea that there are doors in a huge warehouse just ready to be opened at anytime is also a unique idea.
Children are instilled with certain ideas of what to fear and this movie is a great message of not fearing what's outwardly scary but looking beyond that.
