Best Disney Movie

Updated on May 20, 2015

I absolutely loved Beauty and the Beast as a child and I still do to this day! I remember watching this movie over and over again. I would always have to watch it at least twice a day, at the very minimum. I would dance around in my living room and sing along to every song. Be Our Guest was my favorite one to dance to and Beauty and the Beast theme song was my favorite one to sing with. I would pretend that I was Belle dancing in her big, gorgeous yellow ball gown. I would twirl and twirl until I made myself nauseous!

Even at that young age, I remember that I always felt bad for the beast because he was so sad. He had to act tough to hide the fact that he was just so miserable because of the spell that was cast on him and everyone else inside the castle. He thought he would never find true love and that the spell would never end. Unbeknownst to the beast, a beautiful young lady would come to change all that.

Then Belle came along, eventually getting trapped and locked away in the castle. She absolutely hated being there and all she wanted to do was to go home to her father. The beast wasn't so fond of her either. Slowly, but surely though, both Belle and the beast began to like each other. They began to brighten each others world, little by little, until they fell in love and the spell was broken. I just so love happy endings!

I most definitely recommend Beauty and the Beast. It is a great movie to watch with your children or to watch by yourself (I won't tell)! It is by far my most favorite Disney movie of all time. I watch it now with my 1 year old daughter and she seems to love it just as much as I do. She'll get up and dance every time a song comes on just like her dear ol' mom use to do. I can't wait until the day that she can sing along with me to all the songs!
