Secret of the Wings is the Fourth TinkerBell Movie (2012)

If you've been waiting for another DVD featuring a new TinkerBell movie, the wait is over Secret of the Wings is the fourth TinkerBell movie, and it was released in mid-October 2012. Originally, this animated show was going to be called Tinker Bell and the Mysterious Winter Woods and it was scheduled for release in 2011. But it was pushed back to the 2012 holiday season so it wouldn't interfere with Tinker Bell and the Pixie Hollow Games, an animated TV program in 2011. But now that the wait is over, TinkerBell fans can enjoy the new TinkerBell movie 2012.

Tinkerbell Secret of the Wings DVD & Blu-Ray - Release date: October 23, 2012

The new Tinkerbell movie, Secret of the Wings, will feature popular characters and voices from the previous three TinkerBell movies. This new animated special features the familiar voices of Mae Whitman (as Tinkerbell), Lucy Liu (as Silvermist), Raven-Symoné (as Iridessa) and Jesse McCartney (as Terence). It will also introduce some new characters and voices, including Timothy Dalton (as Lord Milori), Matt Lanter (as Sled), and Lucy Hale as the voice of Periwinkle. The movie is being produced by Sean Lurie and will feature music by Joel McNeely.

Disney's film synopsis says, "In Secret of the Wings, Tinker Bell ventures into the mysterious Winter Woods and meets a frost fairy named Periwinkle - and a magical secret is revealed!"

The first direct-to-DVD "Tinker Bell" movie came out in 2008, followed by "TinkerBell and the Lost Treasure" in 2009 and "TinkerBell and the Great Fairy Rescue" in 2010. "Secret of the Wings" will be the fourth TinkerBell movie to be released directly to DVD and Blu-Ray.
