Drinks After Work by Toby Keith
I"m truly excited about Toby Keith's latest album Drinks After Work. It's amazing that this is his 19th studio album. He has also done holiday and compilations albums which are great.
I absolutely love the song "Drinks After Work". It's very catchy plus who doesn't need a drink after work once in awhile. It even makes you want to shake your booty! I love songs that you can just have some plain old fun to and this is one of them. Not only is "Drinks After Work" a big hit on this album but the other songs are really great too. Toby writes 99 percent of his songs which is very profound in my eyes. 2013 was a sad time when a twister went through his hometown and he lost a good friend and band member Chuck Goff. In fact, this album is dedicated in memory of him and there is a song called Chuckie's Gone just for him by Toby.
You can get this CD in four different ways:
- A CD with just ten songs on it.
- A CD with ten + three bonus songs.
- Download it online.
- Get a deluxe Zinepak edition. It comes with the CD ten + three bonus songs, two coasters and a 64 page booklet,
The Zinepak is what I have and I love it! The coasters are really cool and I have them sitting on my end tables in my living room. The booklet is packed with facts and information about Toby. You can read his about his first singing career. His signature Wild Shot drink recipes is in his booklet. I enjoyed reading the booket and learning about Toby Keith. I didn't know Keith is really his middle name but uses it as his last name. I also learned about the Toby Keith's foundation. It is about lending a helping hand where it is needed especially with cancer. His foundation funded and built an OK Kids Korral housing center for kids with cancer and their families to go to. The grand opening was on November 21, 2013. What an awesome heart Toby has for helping to fund and build such a great place to help kids in their time of need with cancer. I'm sure it will be much appreciated by families you attend there!
The Drinks After Work album with booklet is one you don't want to miss if you a big Toby Keith fan like me. I even got to see him at a place called Country Fest which is near where I live. It was so awesome!
So grab your drink, put a little Toby Keith on and dance a few steps. Lets get the party going!
Oh how I love you Red Solo Cup! What an awesome tune this song is and a favorite! It certainly is a party song. It came out in 2011. I have it for a ringtone on my phone. Its fun to see others smile when they hear my phone ring.
Trailerhood has a fun ring to it. Are you from a trailer park? How can you sit still when this song plays. Its a fun song! It came out in 2010.
Seriously this song has a statement to make. The video clearly shows the how do you like me now attitude. I've loved the song immediately when I first heard it when it came out in 1999.
Drinks After Work!
In the first video you can learn about the Zinepak you can get of the album. The second video is the song with the lyrics so you can sing along! The third video tell and shows the story of the song with lyrics. In fact I just recently watched it. The fourth video is a little interview with Toby about this album. Its not his usual tune but it sure has turned to be a HUGH success!
Wild Hot Spiked Cider
This is one of Toby Keith's signature drinks. It is made in a crock pot which I find interesting. It's a nice hot apple cider drink with a kick to it. It will keep you toasty when its chilly out! If you get the Zinepak deluxe edition you'll find this recipe in the booklet or can find more signature drinks at the Wildshot website. In the booklet are only four recipes but on the website are twenty-five drink recipes. I'm sure you'll find one you like! I know I did.
