The baby swap story line is coming to a close, but before the big reveal we will see Ronnie's life spiral even more out of control as she desperately tries to keep things together by any means possible.

Ronnie See's Roxy kissing Michael as they leave the Slater house together and it is instantly clear to Ronnie that her sister didn't go home last night. Later Ronnie notices a voicemail message flashing up on Roxy's phone and when she secretly listens to it she hears Michael inviting Roxy out to lunch.

Ronnie quickly deletes the message and asks Roxy out to lunch herself while leaving the baby with Mum Glenda for the first time. Roxy is initialy looking forward to going out to lunch with her sister until they end up at the boring old cafe. Once there, Ronnie tells Roxy that she doesn't want her dating Michael because he is the cause of Kat and Alfie's marriage troubles.

Meanwhile Jack and Michael are having a drink when Michael invites Jack to look at a business proposition with him and so the pair go to look at a boxing gym together. Jack is initially unsure of the new venture and knows that wife Ronnie would certainly not approve, however Jack is soon won over and goes home armed with champagne to celebrate, but when Jack announces that he and Michael are setting up a gym together, Ronnie goes mad and decides to make an announcement of her own. Ronnie tells a shocked Jack, Glenda and Roxy that Michael made a move on her. Meanwhile Michael and Alfie have left the square for a short break away in Brighton.

When Michael and Alfie return from Brighton, Michael tries to phone Jack but his calls are ignored. Meanwhile Ronnie is living on the edge after her big lie, Ronnie was so scared that Michael would discover the truth about 'Baby Tommy' so when she realised that he wasn't leaving the square anytime soon she panicked and said that Michael made a move on her. Ronnie tells Jack that she wishes she had not said anything about Michael and begs him not to do anything stupid. Later when Michael tries to give Roxy a bunch of flowers that he has bought her, he is confused when Roxy just blanks him. Soon after Jack spots him in the market square and promptly punches Michael in the face before angrily warning him to stay away from Ronnie. Michael doesn't understand what he has supposed to have done and is even more bewildered when Roxy too warns him off her sister. With no idea what is going on, Michael goes over to speak to Ronnie.

Ronnie tries to ignore him but Michael tells her he is not going anywhere until she gives him some answers, and finally Ronnie confesses that she may have said something about him that was perhaps taken the wrong way, Michael then grabs Ronnie and it is at that moment that Jack appears in the doorway. An angry Jack pulls Michael away from his wife and once again warns him to keep away, Michael protests his innocence but when Ronnie is put on the spot she is forced to stick to her earlier allegations. Once Michael has left, Ronnie asks Jack to buy Michael out of the gym so he has no reason to stay on the square, and with the trust between them destroyed, Jack goes over and tells Michael that he wants out of their business deal. Michael however is determined to clear his name and asks old pal Jack if Ronnie could have a crush on him as a passport photo of him has gone missing from his wallet and he thinks Ronnie has taken it. Michael then promises to sign everything over to Jack as long as he promises to ask Ronnie about the photo. Back at the flat Jack begins to search for the missing photo and is shocked when he later finds it. While Jack ponders on what to do about the photo, he goes and apologizes to Michael for punching him. Later when Jack confronts Ronnie with the photo, she tries to blame her Mum Glenda for taking it, but when she realises she cant live with the secrets and lies anymore, Ronnie breaks down. Ronnie starts to tell Jack about the baby swap but can't find the right words, she looks at Jack holding the baby and can't bring herself to destroy his happiness, so instead she admits that she can't cope and needs help.

Meanwhile Kat is defensive when she hears that Alfie is back on the square, and Alfie is unsure on whether or not to approach her. They later bump into each other at the chip shop but don't speak to each other, however later on Alfie spots Kat and Janine having a huge row and goes to speak to his wife. Kat tells Alfie that she received the coroners letter that morning stating that 'Baby Tommy' died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Alfie tells Kat that she can finally stop blaming herself, and as the couple discuss their own sadness, Kat tells Alfie that it would have helped her if she had known how much Alfie was hurting sooner. The couple then bond as they remember Tommy. Meanwhile Ronnie makes her way to her first counselling session but when she spots a magazine article about babies it all becomes to much and she leaves before her session begins. However when she later sees Jack she tells him that she found the councillor very helpful.

Elsewhere Roxy is jealous when she sees Michael with another girl, but he whispers that the girl is not a patch on her. Meanwhile Christian and Syed ask Roxy to take a pregnancy test but when she doesn't turn up to meet them as planned, they decide to go over to Roxy's flat instead, but when they arrive they catch a half naked Roxy and Michael on the sofa. Christian storms out after accusing Roxy and Syed of never wanting a baby in the first place, although Syed admits that he has changed his mind and does want children after all. After Christian storms off, Syed and Roxy end up having a bit of a bonding moment. Syed tells her he has always been quite jealous of the close friendship she has with Christian, while Roxy confesses that she wants someone to love her the way Syed loves Christian, it is quite an eye opener for the pair of them.

Later while at The Vic, Roxy is left heartbroken when a mystery woman warns her off Michael, telling her that he is very much taken. An upset Roxy then visits Christian and Syed where she drops a bombshell.................her periods are late!!

The next day Christian and Syed wait anxiously as Roxy takes the pregnancy test, but what is the result??
