    Hello,

There are many Christmas compositions written by classical composers (e.g., "Hark The Herald Angels Sing" by Mendelsohn, and "Joy to The World" by Handel...), but I'd have to say that Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker" wins them all.  The story takes place on Christmas Eve, and has been a staple of Christmas since its first performance back in 1892...

However, there are lots of Christmas music - "O Holy Night" is another hit, composed by the Adolphe Adam, the composer of Giselle...

    Take care ----------- Merry Christmas!
    John
