    I personally do not agree with having Active Duty Servicemembers perform in any movie made for the general public. Although uncredited in the movie, their faces will now be out there for everyone to see. I hold our military in high esteem and know that there is never enough that we can do to thank our soldiers past and present. But to include some of our active duty warriors in a Hollywood production is to me, doing them a disservice, making them actors in a movie for our entertainment.

    It's distributed by a pseudo-independent production company, so it could be either really good or pure lunacy. Otherwise I would think the film was basically a 2-hour commercial for an upcoming video game. I was in the military and served in combat and am normally not crazy about these sorts of movies, though I have noticed a lot of hype for more and more of them lately. Is that an indication that we will go to war again soon? Before the Iraq invasion, we had We Were Soldiers, Blackhawk Down, the Patriot, Enemy at the Gates, Hart's War, Windtalkers, Master and Commander, Band of Brothers--basically a decade of having almost no war movies followed by three years of corny propaganda. I hope this is not that.
