In your opinion, what are some of the funniest TV shows of all time?
I particularly like the TV series 'What's Happening?' and I remember I use to watch that show after coming back from school. I think the character Rerun is one of the most unforgettable television characters of all time. The show had a lot of laughs but it also had a bit of seriousness in it too reflecting on growing up in urban life.
Well, it USED to be Two and Half Men. I am not a fan of arrogant sexist shows, I really am, but for some reason, I still loved that show when Charlie was on.Another show I laughed so hard at years ago was The Carol Burnett Show. I loved Tim Conway.
2. Red Dwarf
3. Father Ted
4. The I.T. Crowd
5. Dads Army
6. Are you being Served?
7. Keeping up Appearances
8. 'Allo Allo
9. Fawlty Towers
10. Monty Python
There's loads more, but those are the ones that popped into my head.
Great question! Goodness, there have been so many shows from which I have derived so much laughter, it's hard to compile a list.
Among them are:
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Late Night with David Letterman (his NBC years)
The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson (not Jay Leno)
Two and a Half Men
Big Bang Theory
I Love Lucy
Malcolm in the Middle
The Bob Newhart Show
Will and Grace
All in the Family
The Odd Couple
The Dean Martin Show (and Roasts)
Sesame Street (admit it, some skits are funny even for adults)
Jeeves and Wooster
I know that I have missed many, but these are the funniest shows in the order that they came to my mind in a ten minute time frame.
