I have a ton of favorites but one that I really enjoy time and again is REDS with Bruce Willis, and John Malkovich.  It is exciting, romantic in parts, and lots of humor and fun.

Interesting choice, Bruce Willis and John Malkovich both have that subtle sense of humor.

Ah, Bruce Willis!  I have not seen many of his movies that I didn't REALLY like.  Even the Die Hard series is enjoyable.  smile

My favorite movie ever is the original ROBOCOP from 1987. It's got everything I love in it... dystopian sci-fi vibe, extremely black humor, and a ton of action. It's like watching a really kick-ass, ultra violent comic book come to life.

Robocop is a really good movie, and the great thing about it, is that it's very different from many other movies out there. I wonder why they don't make more movie like it?

"RoboCop 2" was pretty good, but "3" was terrible...there was also a short lived TV series ... now there's a remake in the works and the word isn't good on that either. Sometimes you can only capture lightning in a bottle like that one time.

"Godfather II" and "Dances with Wolves"

Both movies for their excellent cinematography and gripping, expressive storytelling.

I have lots of favorite movies but I would recommend 3 Idiots. It's a Bollywood film, actually the highest-grossing. It has high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB. What I love about it is the wisdom it imparts regarding life, pursuit of success and happiness. It is definitely entertaining at the same time so I suggest you check it now! big_smile

you might also want to try "taaray zameen par" ... another really good movie by the same actor/director -Amir khan. it's purpose is to create awareness that some children have difficulties in learning and if taught the right way even they can excel.

The Shawshank Redemption. Saw it sometime in 1995 or 1996 and it completely blew me away. As cliché as it might sound, the message of hope really got to me.

This one is also on my list of favorites, Thief.  The fact that Andy gets his own back and lives his life in beauty and freedom always makes me want to watch it again and again.

Intouchables - was my all time favourite of last year... really good story and being a true story just made it better somehow.

    enjoy...

I have a long list of favorites, but one that always gets me thinking (and acting) is The Green Mile.  Stellar cast, amazing acting, and a story that simply could not be any better.  It's beauty and goodness in action in a messed up, hate-filled world.  The raw humanity of the characters always blows me away, and the tenderness of men in a vicious and brutal environment always makes me want to be better - and to behave better - because sometimes the smallest things (like allowing a death row inmate to have a mouse as a pet) make the difference between a person's internal destruction and ultimate sanity.

I have several favorite movies but one of my all time favorites is Tomcats starring Jerry O'Connell is an adult themed movie so its not appropriate for children as it has gambling, sexual languange, adult content and so on but that movie is just ABSOLUTELY hilerious. Best comedy ever in my book. Another great movie has been and always will be Men in Black the Original with Will Smith and also Paul the movie about the little alien guy...Just too funny
