Tom Cruise is Iron Man!?!?

    According to various reports, Tom Cruise set to star in "Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness" in a couple of years from now as Iron Man.  Not the same  Iron Man that died in
    "Avengers Endgame."  Oh no.  He's Iron Man from another multiverse within the Marvel movie canon, so don't expect his version of Iron Man to be a recurring character in the Marvel movie universe.  More like a glorified cameo if anything else, so assuming this is true, then what do you think?  Do you think Tom Cruise would make a perfect Iron Man from an alternate reality in the Marvel movies?  Or probably not?   Please discuss.

    It could be interesting, but I’m a little tired of how much Marvel tries to milk Iron Man, like always using him as part of the Spider-Man plots. The other main Avengers are just as good.

      I honestly don't like how the marvel movies these days have kind of made Spider-man rely too much on Tony Stark for guidance.   Plus, the fact that SHIELD had to literally hijack his class field trip for him to even want to get involved in the situation with Mysterio was completely out of character if you ask me, as the spider-man from the various cartoons, comics and previous film adaptations never would've needed SHIELD to hijack anything to motivate him to put his personal ambitions aside to get involved.  That's a key essential element to who spider-man is, yet marvel studios hasn't gotten that right yet.  But then again, none of the movie spider-men have been 100 percent accurate to the comics so it's to be expected.
