Songs About Frogs
Come sing with the frogs. We will sing of the life of frogs. We will sing silly songs and scientific songs. Hop on over to the piano. Singing helps children learn to read as well as memorize facts learned during a Frog Unit Study.
We will dramatize the story of the Five Green and Speckled Frogs as well as learn facts about frogs while singing along together.
The five green frogs will be hopping off logs into the frog pond as we count down from five to zero as the frogs help us to learn math.
What better way to learn than to sing a frog song?

Cantaba la Rana - The Singing Frog in Spanish
The frog is singing under the water when along comes a fly to get him to shut up. The fly is then quieted by a spider and the spider is quieted by a rat.
In a format reminiscent of the House the Jack Built, the song keeps going back to each of the previous characters after introducing each new one with each verse ending with the frog.
If you and your children are interested in learning Spanish, play the video over and over as you sing along. Soon you will be picking up words and sentence construction.
Rana means frog. Cantaba means sing.
Come sing about the frog singing under the water...
