The Muppets are at it Again!

If you loved the 2011 comeback movie by The Muppets you were likely as excited as we were about the second movie, The Muppets Most Wanted. In this movie, our favorite characters take off on a world tour, performing in the amazing old theatres of many European cities. Naturally, things don't go smoothly for The Muppet characters who wind up involved with Constantine, the world's worst criminal, who happens to look just like Kermit.

Why The Muppet gang, including Kermit, Miss Piggy and Fozzie Bear, of course! Ah, but maybe you really wanted to know who the real people are that are starring in this movie. Unfortunately, neither Jason Segal nor Amy Adams appear in the second Muppets movie. Instead, it features Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Tina Fey.

For those who might not recognize the names, all three are comedic actors. Ricky Gervais is English actor who you might know from television's The Office and The Ricky Gervais Show; Ty Burrell is an American actor whom you might know from Modern Family; and, Tina Fey is an American comedian from Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock and Mean Girls.

Walter Returns in The Muppets...Again!

Thank goodness the newest Muppet, Walter, returned in The Muppets Most Wanted! We really enjoyed his character in the 2011 Muppet movie and would have been disappointed had he been eliminated from the next Muppet film.

For those who don't know, Walter is a young single Muppet who has never felt quite at home in the human world. It wasn't until 2011, when he was hired by The Muppets to appear in their new movie, that he discovered where he really belonged...in the world of The Muppets.

Tell me you didn't miss it!

The Muppets movie in 2011 was entitled simply, The Muppets. It was amazing. We loved the fact that it had our favorite characters from The Muppets. We loved meeting the newest addition to The Muppet Family, Walter. We loved that it was multi-generational meaning that someone with a history with The Muppets enjoyed it and laughed aloud and someone who had little knowledge of The Muppets did, too. And if a movie causes one to want to sing out in the middle of a crowded movie theatre, well you just know it was good.
