"First Love" Original Poetry
"First Love"
Adorn me with toys that come in a box
I want the Water the Soil and Rocks
I want to get dirty I want to see God with my eyes
Not false comfort in flagrant disguise...
For the Sun it Rises
Yes!
And I saw the Sun
It was bright
The round of the earth
Shown by it's light
It was mighty, what a sight.
The Sun it Rises
Inebriate me with spoils of war
Imbibe fear in my soul to the depths, to the core
I scream for freedom somewhere inside
Always a whisper with something to hide...
For the Sun it Rises
Yes!
And I saw the Sun
It was bright
The round of the Earth
Shown by it's light
It was mighty, what a sight
The Sun it Rises
Help me forget the things that I love
Forged steel clips the wings of a dove
But beckons to me a shadow of thought
That quietly creeps to me not to be cuaght...
It says, "The Sun it Rises
Yes!
And I saw the Sun
It was bright
The round of the Earth
Shown by it's light
It was mighty, what a sight
The Sun it Rises"
And what Love from the Sun
For when you forget or refrain from a gaze
It gives you more days
It always waits for you asking the same.
To come to a place where one time you once came.
