One of the best comedy shows that has come out of Scotland, you will cry laughing at these two Old Age Pensioners.

Cult Scottish comedy about the lives of two OAP's Jack and Victor and their views on how it used to be in the old days and how bad it is now in the fictional town of Craiglang.

Rab C. Nesbitt - My Fav Comedy Shows

This guy is hilarious, if you have never seen Rab then you are missing some great comedy, mind you, it all depends on where you come from, and if you can understand him or his family and friends. Are there families, are there guy's like this in Scotland, you bet, I met some of them throughout my youth, but you know what, I loved them. Please continue to read all about their antics, then watch the movie that follows.

Robert "Rab" C. Nesbitt (Gregor Fisher): alcoholic in denial, deadbeat, self-styled "street philosopher" and "sensitive big bastard", although "sensitive by Govan standards. Described by his wife Mary as not "an unemployed person" but "the original unemployed person", Rab is very rarely seen in anything other than a pinstripe suit in very poor condition, rotting plimsolls, a filthy headband and a string vest. He has two sons, Gash and Burney. Rab has four brothers, all dead; Rab only survived because he was the only one out of the five who was able to understand the benefits form. He claims to have been talented as a teenager, but never went anywhere with it due to Govan-dwellers being scared of talent when they saw it and tried "tae batter it tae death wi' empty wine bottles". At some point before the 2008 Christmas Special "Clean" he managed to clean up his act, giving up alcohol, helping around the house, discovering religion, and presiding over a temperance group; so far he has only relapsed on-screen twice.

Little Britain - You'll Laugh Your Socks Off

What a great comedy show, jumping from character to character, sketch to sketch, I never get bored, I loved the show so much, I went and purchased the DVDs. You just have to check this out and watch the enclosed little video, I'm sure you will like if you are into comedy, carry on reading to find out what's it all about, happy viewing.

The show comprises sketches involving exaggerated parodies of British people from all walks of life in various situations familiar to the British. These sketches are presented to the viewer together with narration in a manner which suggests that the program is a guide - aimed at non-British people - to the ways of life of various classes of British society. Despite the narrator's description of great British institutions, the comedy is derived from the British audience's self-deprecating understanding of either themselves or people known to them.

An American version of the show, with the same two main actors, entitled Little Britain USA was created in 2008. This series is shown on HBO in the USA, and also in Canada on HBO Canada and The Comedy Network. It is shown on the BBC in the UK, and is shown in Australia on Network Ten.

Mr Bean - My Fav Comedy Shows

This guy just kills me, he's slow-witted and selfish, yet, a likeable buffoon who brings various unusual schemes and contrivances to everyday

tasks. You've just got to like him. Read on, find out what he's about and watch the little video on completion, you'll be hooked.

Based on a character originally developed by Atkinson at university, the series followed the exploits of Mr. Bean, described by Atkinson as "a child in a grown man's body", in solving various problems presented by everyday tasks and often causing disruption in the process. Bean rarely speaks, and the largely physical humor of the series is derived from Bean's interactions with other people and his unusual solutions to situations. The series was influenced by physical performers such as Jacques Tati and comic actors from silent films.

Mrs Brown's Boys - It's Hysterical!

One of the best sitcoms to hit the TV in such a long time. This was previously a highly successful live theater show, Mrs Brown's Boys stars Brendan O'Carroll as Agnes Brown, Ireland's proudest foul-mouthed mother, who is constantly interfering in her friend's and family's business. You have to watch this, it will have you in stitches.
