Shaun Cassidy - Da Doo Ron Ron
One of the first records I got was Shaun Cassidy way back when I was younger. I still have it to this day! I'd listen to it over and over till cows came home for milking! I'd sit and stare at the record cover because Shaun was so cute! My favorite song was Da Doo Ron Ron! The player I had looked like a big suitcase. It use to be my sister's but got handed down to me. It was blue. Wish I had a picture of it. It was so cool. It played all favorite records.
I can't believe this record is out on the market yet. I know the vinyl's seem to be making a bit of comeback which is super cool. Records bring back so many good memories. It's been so long that I am not sure where my record came from; maybe a garage sale but I sure loved it. I still drag out my records once in awhile and listen to them. The memories come flooding back.
This record was released back in 1976 in Europe and Australia. In 1977 is when it became big in America! I'm so glad too since it was one of my favorites! It's pretty exciting to know that I have his very first two albums that were such a big hits!
Where is Shaun Today:
Since his debut as a teen heart throb back in the 70's with his pop music, Shaun is now married with two boys and has 2 children from a previous marriage. He is a television writer and producer. He produces TV shows such as Cold Case, The Mountain, and Invasion. He was an actor in the Hardy Boys, Breaking Away and General Hospital. I remember watching the Hardy Boys. The video I watched HERE shows a bit of his life as it is now. It sounds likes he's a great family man which can be hard with being such a big star and producer. I think that is super great!
I still think that his music lives on for those who loved him back when he was a hot teen heart throb! Wouldn't you agree? His songs were the best back then.
My Favorite Pop Records!
I'm so lucky I have all three of these records yet. I am not every parting with these! I love them!
Shaun ranks right up there with Leif Garret and Donny Osmond records that I have. Makes me wanna crank out the tunes again to take me back to the good 'ol days! Thank goodness for YouTube since I can listen to many of my favorites and watch them jig and sing!
