Shilpa Shetty - Next BOND Heroine?

At present Bollywood is looking curiously towards Hollywood. The Hot news in film industry is about the Heroine of 23rd James Bond Film. After participating in Big Brother Reality show Shila Shetty became famous among the film fans in London. The Producers believe that if they select Shipa as new Heroine the film will get new caliber in Asia also.

Shilpa Shetty is a four times Filmfare Award nominated Indian film Actress and Supermodel. Her first film was Baazigar(1993). After this hit film she has appeared in nearly 50 films. Her first throughout role film was Aag (1993). She resides at the centre of the Hindi film industry. Her younger sister Shamitha Ahetty is also a Bollywood film actress.

Shipla was crowned the winner of the British Celebrity Big Brother on 28 January 2007 with 63% of the final vote. After an international racism controversy involving her and fellow contestants Jade Goody, Jo O’Meara and Danielle LloyedBollywood star Shilpa Shetty has filed a case in an Indian court against a British agent charging she falsely signed deals and made commitments in Shetty's name, her publicist said Friday.The petition, filed Thursday in a Mumbai court, also seeks to clarify that the agent, Jasveer Barton, does not represent Shetty and is not entitled to a share of her earnings, said the statement from Dale Bhagwagar.Bhagwagar acknowledges that Barton was instrumental in getting Shetty onto the British reality show "Celebrity Big Brother," which made Shetty a household name in Britain.

Shetty went on to win the show, but not before a massive outcry in Britain and India complaining that her house mates were making racist comments against her. Channel 4 was forced to apologize after a TV regulator ruled that the program broke broadcasting rules by airing footage of racist insults hurled at Shetty.
