Synth Single Review: “Dive in Love’’ by Taeha

Taeha’s Dive in Love talks about a deep and irresistible love as it unfolds. Gleaming chimes carry an uplifting melody and Taeha’s voice bounces out with expression and ease. The chimes swirl and shift in the distance as the drums bop along.

Trumpet flares as Taeha fills her voice with affection as the percussion jumps. Glistening notes fill the music with starry light and the low end shapes the song. Brass flashes out before the cascading chimes scintillate. The song drifts into a gently caressing segment in which the lead singer emotes with love.

Jangly guitar dances in the background and the brass section adds illumination to the heartfelt chorus. Light pours from this music and Taeha’s voice has an enjoyable pop sensibility. Digital-sounding synth swirls and flows along as the low end pulses.

The storyteller says “on a day like today, I want to walk with you” as she and the song's subject enjoy the breeze together. She adds that everything they do together that seems like destiny will “come true like fate.”

Our narrator asks the other person to dive into love with her and let her into their heart. She wants to “ride the wave and fall in love.” She goes on to say that nothing ever felt so good or right to her.

The storyteller says that she can feel the love coming and she’ll stay in love. She concludes that “no one's ever going to love you the way I do, you're the only one I'll ever need.”
