Synth Single Review: “Mindscape’’ by Pashang 爬上 & Isidor

Pashang 爬上 & Isidor’s Mindscape transports listeners to a great intergalactic battle. The track starts as enormous bass surges and the pounding drums join a fray of clashing energy. High synth entangles in frenetic motion, spinning like a space fighter as the bell-like tones ring with tension. A brassy synth explodes with inspirational life, moving like a skillfully piloted craft through the battle space, flaring with laser light.

Rumbling power surges like a starfighter’s propulsion units while the main melody speaks of heroic actions against a backdrop of cold stars. The rhythm is unrelenting, exuding muscle and propulsion, while a haunting tone drifts. Seething bass growls with massive strength before notes bend, creating a drifting feeling.

Once again, the lead synth fills me with sensations of victorious flight, phosphoric light bursting from laser cannons as a fleet of spacecraft engage in ferocious combat, playing out an intergalactic drama before the track ends.
