Synth Single Review: “Necromancer’’ by DROIDGLOW

DROIDGLOW’s Necromancer creates images of ancient magic unleashed. The track commences as rapidly fulminating notes move and serrated sounds slice in the distance. The drums flourish and a crushing beat smashes ferociously, tearing forward with rampant power. The lead synth carries a melody full of mystery and growing shadow while the heaving bassline surfs beneath.

Chiming, starry notes sparkle with mystical light while the guitar calls out with ravening power, rising to convey dark triumph. The main synth melody is full of dreaming energy, creating a contrast with the angry surge below that I find especially enjoyable. As the guitar slashes with razor-sharp claws, the drums shatter before the guitar becomes smoother and more caressing for a moment while the shadowed bass roars.

A tide of menacing force fills the music as the lead synth rises with victorious, coruscating luminosity and the muscled guitar shears through the mix like a sword’s blade. The song ends with churning power and dark import.
