Synth Single Review: “Pegasus’’ by Nightflyer & Suzuka
Nightflyer & Suzuka's Pegasus cradles the listener in billowing clouds. The track starts quickly as accelerating, twisting synth moves into gently drifting waves. Delicate notes pass mistily as the heavy low end begins to pulse. Brightly entangled synth chords hover as the bass moves like a rich pool and sweeping notes slip with relaxing simplicity.
A softly exhaling voice moves along with the glowing synth, carrying an uplifting melody that releases my stress. Glittering notes shine like diamonds above the steady drumbeat as the surging bass continues to tremble. Hollow percussion pops, and the low end drives forward as the easily twirling synth spreads outward with lissome relaxation.
Airy sounds float as the glimmering synth undulates and fragile sounds glide. The drums and bass return with dense power while the elevated notes radiate iridescent light and the chiming tones flicker with caressing luminosity. The heavy weight below shapes the music while the raised notes gleam with a sunlit, tender light until the track exhales into silence.
