Synth Single Review: “Recoil’’ by Suzuka
Suzuka’s Recoil travels across a luminous, velvety soundscape. The track begins with an extended, softly floating sonic flow and distant, trembling notes. A charming, placid feeling permeates the music as synth ripples drift across the wide-open background.
A profound calm defines the gliding synth as broadly sweeping sounds rise and the steadily pulsating rhythm guides the music. Breath flows from me in long waves as the track’s smooth beat carries me along, skimming over a peaceful world, and I feel myself uplifted.
Shimmering radiance extends outward in waves from tones that levitate easily over pastel clouds billowing and sliding in luscious whorls. The low-end heartbeat is shaped by the drums and driven by resonant bass.
A medium-high, shining synth carries a soothing melodic pattern, full of gentleness and misty tenderness that fills the whole track. Raised notes glitter with serene affection before the music slowly fades.
