Synth Single Review: “Strings Of Decay” by Cybertronix & Tenodi Boris

Cybertronix & Tenodi Boris’s Strings of Decay paints a picture of an eerie scene unfolding in the darkness. The track starts as threatening sounds leap into a bubbling, seething bass cauldron as the violins cry out. The voice-over speaks of terrible things to come as theremin floats.
The low end slices with undulating dynamism, exuding dire sensations while the guitar slashes cleanly, moving in sharply angled lines that exude menace. The string section carries a dreaming melody tinged with creeping shadow as it moves elegantly above the militaristic beat below.
I enjoy the orchestral drama within the track as the heavily colliding low end batters tumultuously and the strings slice in between with increasing intensity. The main melody unfurls with a graceful ache as it spins out above the pounding low end which pushes forward smoothly. The high notes convey twisting strength as the haunting theremin trails spectrally. The low end is fiercely insistent as it presses on before the song ends with the theremin slipping into silence.
