jacket. & NeverMann’s Us We Chose explores a very special, loving relationship as it unfolds. Intensely glimmering chimes ring out as bass oscillates powerfully to open the track. The chimes flare out again as the base drives on.

NeverMann’s heartfelt voice captures a retro feeling and intense emotion. The vocal melody is full of deep affection as giant drums rebound and the bass oscillates. Lambent chimes dance as NeverMann emotes with powerful expression and the track flows onward.

The background swirls delicately as the base throbs and luminous chimes flicker. The vocals ache with love as the drums and bass propel the music. Gleaming synth entangles as NeverMann pours out emotion.

Now delicately sparkling chimes ring out as open-sounding notes ripple and NeverMann’s vocals capture all of the song's deep feelings. The low end adds motion to the lyrical feelings and broad synth glows with caressing light before the song ends.

The narrator says he was alone on the dance floor when the song's subject walked in the door. He points out that "everyone, they could always see, like fate we were meant to be." He adds that he saw the other person there, looking at him.

Our storyteller goes on to say that the song's subject took his hand but he was "afraid to misunderstand." He’d never felt that way before and now everything's changed because "we're not kids anymore." He points out that it's a first love so "let's let the first love be our last love."

They walked home side by side and the narrator says it was just them and the rainy night. He continues "take my hand, never let go" adding that they'll find a way so the other person can hold them close and they'll plan a “secret runaway."

Our storyteller wants the song's subject to take his hand and hold him closely. He wants to make their love last because "it's us we chose." He concludes " the way you look at me, this was forever my fantasy, me and you. "
