Synth Single Review: "Vitality" by Alex Boychuk & Dopamine
Dopamine & Alex Boychuk’s Vitality interweaves serenity and propulsion. The track begins as a tremulous synth expands. Fragile chimes balance with heavy force below as the solid beat rocks in, moving with the vibrating synth line. The main melody has a frolicking quality as it sparkles with starry luminosity above the heavily cascading rhythm.
A piano carries out with calming grace while bubbling sounds add an aquatic element. The gigantic bass lends richness to the music as the piano breezes past. The way the soothing sparkles are supported by the low end creates peaceful ease in me.
The guitar has a creamy quality as it carries a melody full of smoothly contemplative, gentling emotion and the underpinning pulse throbs. As the main melody floats free, it adds a cobweb tracery to the track. The guitar strums with gently surrounding sound and carries me away before the track ends.
