On 29 April 2011, Kate Middleton married Prince William at Westminster Abbey, London.
H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth gave William and Kate the title of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, so Kate's official title is Her Royal Highness , Duchess of Cambridge. Many people still refer to her as Kate Middleton, just "Kate" or even "K Mid".
On Monday, 22 July at 4.24 in the afternoon Kate gave birth to an 8lb 6oz baby boy, the new Prince George of Cambridge. We now know that the Royal couple are expecting a second baby. Wow!
The world has watched Kate as she effortlessly took her place in the Royal family. In 2012 the Duchess of Cambridge was very much in the spotlight during the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, and the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Now she has a whole new role as a mother, and the world is watching. That's a daunting prospect for any young woman, but Kate seems to take all the attention in her stride, with grace and charm.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge started married life on the Isle of Anglesey
The new Duchess of Cambridge began her Royal life as the wife of a serving Royal Airforce Officer. The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, is a serving pilot with the RAF Station Valley on the Isle of Anglesey.
The Duke of Cambridge flew a Sea King helicopter as part of the RAF search and rescue service .He has just retired from this job, and the couple will be saying a sad goodbye to their home in Anglesey.where they were able to live a fairly normal life, going to the pub and shopping in the supermarket like any other young couple.
RAF Valley in Anglesey, an island in the west of Wales, is often involved in mountain rescues and sea rescues. His term of service is coming to an end, and it has not been decided what he will do next.
The Duchess of Cambridge spent her early married life on the Isle of Anglesea, a beautiful and peaceful place, popular with British holidaymakers.
The Duchess of Cambridge was be able to settle into her new married life as a member of the Royal family in a calm, caring environment.
Prince William has been very happy in his work, and the Royal Couple invited all 40 members of his team, and their partners, to the Royal Wedding.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge now have an apartment in one of the royal palaces in London, Kensington Palace, which has become their home with the new baby Prince of Cambridge. The apartment is being updated to make it suitable for the Royal couple and their baby.
They have also been given a house on the Royal Estate of Sandringham in Norfolk, where they will settle with their family in due course.
