Tonic Sol Fa - Four Voices and a Tambourine
It's one of those rainy dreary days. Stuck inside, watching it rain and feeling like its one of the those days. So I put on some music to cheer me up. I'm listening to a music group called Tonic Sol Fa. Ever heard of them? If not your missing out. They are a fantastic Acapella mens quartet that sing pop, gospel, rock and holiday genres. There voices are truly amazing as they blend them together to sing. There just four voices and a tambourine.
When I first heard them it was at the local fair in town. I was so taken up with them that I never missed seeing them again when they came to town. A co-worker of mine knew them personally and I heard a lot about the guys from her. It was really neat to see her eyes light up as she talked about them especially one in particular.
One of the times I went to there show I decided to see if I could get my CD I bought signed. Sure enough I did by all four guys in the group. You had to squeeze up through everyone and wait in the lines but it was worth it. They were even great to talk to while they signed there names.
The last time I seen them was over a year ago with my cousin at the Fair. It was a chilly rainy day and the group was moved into a building to perform. We sat in the bleachers way at the top. It was a great view with no bobbing heads to look through. It was packed and the floor was covered by everyone attending. They sang so many favorites that are loved by all.

One of these days I want to get to their Christmas concert. I've never been to one of those; only see the video's online. I sure can't wait to see them again at the Fair. It's always a fun time.
Tonic Sol Fa Albums
It's so hard to pick favorite songs by these guys. I love all of them but there a few that just stick out for me! I have the first two albums plus a bunch more but not the Christmas one. I've never seen them perform at a Christmas concert yet but I've sure seen them perform otherwise. They are awesome!
Don't Miss Hearing These Songs!
These guys are so amazing with the songs they sing. It takes a lot of practice for them to do this. The first one is an all time favorite of mine. When your having just one of those days turn this song up and you'll understand why.
As for the rest of the songs; I chose a few fun ones like the Lion Sleeps Tonight and Doe Rae Me. Great for the county fair lineup. Such favorites with adults and kids!
I just had to throw in the Elvis - If I Can Dream. I've never heard this one in person but I love the song. Everyone wants their dreams to come true! Then it ends with Something Beautiful.
