Top Pop Songs to Inspire Positive Thinking and Living

Updated on September 17, 2014

Positive Songs and Lyrics are Sometimes Hard to Find

A lot of pop music centers around infatuation with another person, or ranting or raving about things that don't necessarily build character or teach values. Here are a list of pop songs that center on having a clear mind, and keeping a positive attitude.

Andy Grammer - Keep Your Head Up

Bekkah Shae - Life

U2 - Beautiful Day

Matthew West - Strong Enough

Need to Breathe - Slumber

Suggestions for other top positive music I should add???

So happy to discover your lens. I just recently wrote my own lens with my favorites focusing on Christian artists. I love Beckah Shae! She's great and you have some other artists here I hadn't heard before. You might like Ellie Holcomb. :)

I actually recognized some of these songs. But my favorite was the one by Matthew West.

To add to your list: You Light Up My Life by Debby Boone and I Will Celebrate Sing Unto the Lord by Petra.

I found a lot of motivation in New Day Rising by Huesker Du, but this is not a pop song, so I am not sure if it is appropriate for everybody...

      Great selection! Thumbs up!
