My Name is Khan
A deeply moving Hindi movie, but with an American twist. Rizwan Khan (Shahrukh Khan), a Muslim man with Asperger syndrome, was living a happy existence with his wife, Mandira (Kajol), in San Francisco until an unfortunate tragedy drives her away from him after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He set out on a quest to meet the President traveling all over the states until he came upon a boy and his mother and the town of Wilhelmina, Georgia. Find out how love and peace overcame hatred and anger in this Bollywood masterpiece. This is not your typical Bollywood films--the ones with lots of singing and dancing. This one has a moving story, a moral take-away, but ultimately a happy ending. We really like it!
