Transformers Decepticon Jets

Updated on July 16, 2015

Decepticon Jets

Where the Autobots had their cars, Decepticons had their jet planes. Though not much in quantity, it was their quality that made them deadly to the heroic Autobots. These planes served as one of Megatron (the leader of the Decepticons) main sources as to gaining an advantage of winning the war against the good bots. So let's pay homage to those jets that made a difference for the evil Decepticons.

starscream
starscream

Starscream

He was the second in command next to Megatron. Though he was never trusted by his leader due to the fact that Starcream would take the advantage of wanting to become the next leader at any given second (and he would always show it as well), when it came to battle, Starscream would rarely disappoint his leader for he would take down anyone who would get in his way of battle and would lead the other jets into a victorious battle. Then it would be back to his debate on who should be leader? Himself or Megatron.

thundercracker
thundercracker

Thundercracker

He’s the jet that’s next in charge to Starscream. He’s not as ruthless as he, but don’t let that fool you with him. He’s just as bad when he turns into a jet. He lets out a big thunder that’ll have all of his foes shaking in their robo boots.

skywarp
skywarp

Skywarp

He just as bad as the previous two, but he does something that the other two jets can’t and that’s warp from one place in the sky to the other. Hence the name: Skywarp. A valuable asset to the Decepticons.

thrust
thrust

Thrust

He’s part of the second wave of jets. He’s though they are all jets, not only does he sport a different style, but his head is the shape of a cone. Some people would just call him a ‘conehead’ jet. But he’s no laughing matter.

Dirge
Dirge

Dirge

He’s part of the ‘conehead’ crew, but also sports his own style of jet. No difference to Thrust.

Ramjet
Ramjet

Ramjet

The third one of the the ‘conehead’ crew who transforms into his own style of jet just like his brothers Thrust and Dirge. No difference in him as well.

Cyclonus
Cyclonus

Cyclonus

He’s the futuristic jet that was created by the monster planet Unicron to serve and protect the new Decepticon leader Galvatron. You could say that he’s Galvatron’s right hand man and till this day, there is a debate on whether Cyclonus is the remodel of either Skywarp or the Insecticon Bombshell. Confused? Watch Transformers The Movie very carefully and you’ll see why?

Scourge
Scourge

Scourge

He’s another futuristic jet that was created by Unicron to serve Galvatron. He’s next in line next to Cyclonus, but makes more wrongs than rights. He’s definitely the remodel version of Thundercracker.
