How can I find my look alike?

Updated on November 28, 2012

This earth has a billion population of men living on different continents of this planet. There could be a chance that my look-alike be out there somewhere. I am sure my look alike is living his life as normally as I am here today.

However, If I would have been a celebrity, he would have popped up from one of the places on this earth. Being a celebrity changes everything. You get fame, money and so-called respect. Why wouldn't my look-alike like all the above? All he needs to change is his accent, his style, and his perspective in life. Once all that is done, by reading all about me, Voila! he has it all there. He can gain respect, and fame in that far away continent he is living in; or he could also surface on this side of the world and be a celebrity impersonator.

These celebrity impersonators call themselves an actor. They work hard in studying the person whom they want to be like. There is a battle to be the number 1 impersonator because if he wins it, there is a lot of money involved. A classic example is Tim Watters. He is the world's greatest Bill Clinton impersonator and has made more than million dollars annually and owns properties.

Good Presidential impersonators are worth millions annually. They make impersonation their living and work hard to make themselves worth millions while their look alike is in the White house. Currently there are two men competing to be impersonators for President Obama.

I guess with this era of making money and living well. Some actually don't care if it's right to imitate others and make money out of it or be living with a strong back bone. However, some may argue that whatever profession that person has opted for, he is working hard to make money. So, hard work is involved. Thus, the ultimate goal at the end of the day is to fill the bank account under your name and live happily ever after.

      Emily,

I think soul mates are bound to click with you but, it's not necessary for a look alike to click with your personality.

It's just the joy of finding a similar person looking like you...I am glad you could find and meet such people :) Must be fun huh :)

      thanks for stopping by!

      Hi fpher,

I sure do hope you find your look a like, my friend :)

I am waiting up for mine (very excited)

wonder how the genes got around to mutate and become another similar person but, am pretty sure with a different personality.

      Cheers!

Wow, I have so many look a-likes. I've met at least three or four of them. People will say we look alike, some couldn't believe we weren't sisters. I liked that feeling though because I always wanted to have a sister! I agree-I'm sure everyone has at least one look alike, but I feel the same way about soul mates. It has to be because if you are from opposite ends of the world, you'll never meet if there was only one person destined to be yours. Great hub!

I do not have a pic otherwise I would have mailed you for sure..

Science suggests each of us has 6 to 7 look alikes

Ruchira.. It's absolute fact that every single individual has a look-alike...( or, as they say, a "double") In fact, some people can have more than one. Possibly a few.

My whole family is fascinated by this theory. We are always spotting people where ever we go and commenting on "who" they look like, whether it be someone we know in our circle of family & friends...or a celebrity/famous person.

I've been told plenty of times that I look like this one or that one.....but I've yet to actually meet someone who I believe could pass for my double....

      I like this hub !! UP+++

@Rambansal...I totally agree that scientifically there are not 2 identical beings...THANK GOD!

Genes will be different but, some looks could match.

      Thanks for stopping by!

The Nature creates every individual uniquely. May be there are a few look-alike, but that too in very limited features. Scientifically, there can be no two identical living-beings.

      Hi Susan,

You do actually look like Celine dion :) Now, the only problem is to communicate to a star that she has a look-a-like.

maybe we could ask Linda to write a letter to Celine in that regards :)

I've been told that I look like Celine Dion. I don't see it myself at all but I would sure love to have her fame. Field of Flowers does look like Glenn Close and has a striking resemblance to an neighbor I once had.

Yes, she is out there and I wish too; I could find her.

Hope we can do so in this life time :)

      Thanks for stopping by!

I've been told more times than I can remember or count that I look like Glenn Close. There are times I tell people that she's my sister and they believe me! On occasion, she's my 'cousin'. They ask me all kinds of questions about her and I just say,"I'm not at liberty to answer" or something along those lines. I have so much fun with it.

If there's anyone out there who is reading this that has a real connection with Glenn Close...I sure would love to meet her someday. Heck, I could probably even be a 'stand-in' for her! I've done some acting...and I loved it!! Ohhh... wouldn't that be awesome to do again... :-)
