Yes, that's true my friend, breast milk also saves us a lot of money on formulas and that money saved can be used in feeding the mother with much more healthy diet which is well balanced and nutritious. Plus you can buy fruits from that money saved for your family. Baby's health is also of equal importance. Breastfeeding babies for at least one year is recommended and after that you can carry on with buying and feeding formulas such as Nan 1 and Nan 2 in India, Enfamil, and Similac in America, etc. to feed your babies. Yes, for the first year, you will save on baby formulas, as if you are not breastfeeding, you will have to buy at least three formula packs each month costing somewhere around 10 dollars for one pack that comes to around 30 dollars per month. Total money you will save on formulas if you are breastfeeding your baby for one month will be 360 US dollars that is approximately 16200 Indian Rupees to save. Also, I researched and found two very popular baby formula brands.

Similac Advance with Iron Powder - 12.9 oz is priced at 17.15 US$ at sale, actual price is $21.99.

Enfamil AR Lipil Milk - Based Infant Formula Ready To Use - 32 oz / can, for first 12 months by is for 58.93$.

I have to agree that if i have ever seen a miracle with my own eyes, it is in the form of breastfeeding my own children. I didn't know anything about it before i had a baby, but then after my first daughter was born amazing things started happening. Babies THRIVE on love, and breastmilk is PURE, liquid love. It is truly a privilege and honour that so many women, unfortunately, throw away all too lightly.

Great hub! Breast milk really is the best for babies. I wonder how long most mothers breastfeed their infants for. I am always being pressured to wean my daughter. I always tell them I'm in the process - it's no lie because she's already eating solid food. I hope all moms could do breastfeed their babies. Thank you for the hub!

Yes, thanks for reminding me Veronica about money saved with breastfeeding. Your comments are so practical and useful that they help in adding more important information to my hubs. Each time you leave a comment that is useful for someone, me and visitors to my hub. You are such a great support. I wonder if I could be of such great support to you on your hubs but I will definitely try. By the way, I am going to add more information about baby formulas and what money parents can save by breasfeeding their babies for first year.
