Two Daughters from Switzerland, One Daughter in Cebu Coming Home for a Vacation

Josefina´s wish is always to be with her children, grandchildren, family and her husband. She loves to spend nice time together visiting beautiful places, making adventures with her family.

She is full with joy every time her 5 daughters make a visit for a month vacation where they live so far 2 in Switzerland, 1 in Germany, 1 in Canada, 1 in the island of Cebu Phil.

Her 2 sons live in the same town just in front neighbors, 1 son lives 15 kilometers away in the nearby city. She is grateful to have her sons near to her, having more time seeing all of their family mostly her grandchildren having the chance to take care of them and give much love and fill her longing and lonely heart thinking of her 5 daughters and their family so far away.

2 daughters, one daughter from Cebu coming home for a vacation.....hurra...Josefina, her husband, the youngest daughter (now in Canada) are busy preparing the house and the bedrooms, planning a welcome party, organizing with the help of her 3 sons and her beloved husband.

Of course, Lechon is always the menu attraction. Family and friends are coming to greet her 2 daughters, 1 daughter is married and is with her husband and 1 child. The other daughter is still single. It was a wonderful welcome party with delicious foods and everybody got their gifts and are happy.

TRIP TO CAMIGUIN ISLAND - 3 to 4 hours Land Travel and 30 - 45 minutes with a Ferry.

Half of the family members are coming along the trip. The island is beautiful and they make a tour around for a day. The most beautiful place is the white small island where one can reach during low tide. They rent 2 wooden boats and it takes about half an hour to reach the island. A great place to dive and see lots of colorful different types of fishes and corals. The white fine sand and the Crystal clear refreshing water invites you to swim with pleasure one could feel a relaxing satisfying reaction of the body and soul.

Other places to visit is the cold and hot spring. Josefina loves the hot foggy spring. They stay for 2 nights and have lots of fun together. Lots of places to discover and a great adventure.

Traditional farm picnics and beach swimming, invitations belong to the program. Everyday is another beautiful enjoyable memorable day for Josefina.

Her other daughter in Germany has spent a vacation with her family also visited the island with Josefina and her husband.

Her daughter in Canada spends her vacation at home as often as she could and enjoy more time with her.

Josefina´s Daughter in Switzerland is Coming Home with Her Boyfriend, her daughter from Cebu and youngest daughter.

After 2 or 3 years, Josefina´s daughter comes home for a vacation with her boyfriend.

Family welcome party tradition always takes place, invitations here and there, swimming, picnics and travelling to nice places is part of the vacation plan together, to get to know more about her daughters boyfriend and vise verse, of course about Philippines.

Josefina´s dream to see a part of Europe comes true. She and her husband will be staying for 3 - 4 months.

A get together for all her sons and daughters family.

Everybody from abroad are coming home with their family from Switzerland, Germany and Canada, Cebu.

This is the first greatest family reunion, the greatest family celebration.

Everybody is preparing for the great day. Josefina hired a cook, butler, 5 helpers, chauffeur etc. Everything is well organized, the menu plan, program of the day, games etc.

Program of the Day

1) Whole family to attend the Sunday morning mass at 7:00 a.m.

7) Dinner

Everybody enjoyed the day. It was a memorable unforgettable day for the whole family.

The next day is beach party. They have lots to eat, grilled fish and meat, fish salad, lechon, pan-cit, humba, sweet potato, cooked banana, rice, chili sauce etc.

Josefina´s health condition is not good. She looks so thin, her skin is dry, she has stomach aches, she has a low hemoglobin.

She wants to share this to all her love ones because she is afraid about her health condition. She needs support both emotionally and psychologically because she still does not know the diagnose. She is glad to be with her family, to accompany her to her check ups like colonoscopy etc.

It was only 3 days after the family celebration that her family brought her in Cebu City 12 hours with ship travel for an emergency operation. She has a tumor on her intestines.

Josefina was never been seriously ill until she was diagnose of having a cancer. She is a brave wowan and has great desire to live and be with her children and grandchildren.

She has problem with blood transfusion but the operation was going well. It was a good tumor?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Josefina recovered from the operation and is living normally not until after 2 years she was admitted in the intensive care unit because of her low hemoglobin and was intubated with respirator and is dying.

All her daughters so with her grandchildren are coming home urgently to visit her in the ICU in the hospital in Cebu.

Her daughters don´t want to give her up and manage to get the best treatment whatsoever to save their loving mother Josefina. Her daughters have watch her 24 hours day by day for her not to be alone because she is conscious inspite of the respator maschine but she cannot talk to her daughter. She can hear their comfort and she just cry.

She has stomach pain but wasn´t understood from the nurse not until her daughter give her paper and pencil to write and she said " i have so much pain in my stomach " and for sure, this she has for more days and have suffered not until she got the pain reliever as her daughter ask for it.

Gods miracle, Josefina responded to the last treatment that her hemoglobin results went up and getting stable after a few days of treatment.

Her 3 daughters cannot stay long because it was an emergency that they fly earlier back home and they cannot stay longer except for her youngest daughter from Canada who voluntarily stay longer for months, asking her employer to get about 3 months leave from her job.

Josefina was admited in March and her 3 dauhters promise to visit her, 1 in the month of July, 1 in August, 1 in September.

Josefina is recovering. She is glad that she has 1 daughter in Cebu that takes care of her and her youngest daughter to stay with her longer. She is happy to know that her other 3 daughters will visit her soon.

Josefina is a brave woman. Her will to live longer make her strong and her hope to spend more time with her children and husband.

After 3 years, she was suddenly weak, she was diagnose of having lung cancer and there is no hope for recovery.

In the month of May 2008, she travelled with her husband to Cebu for a routine checkup and was emergency delivered to the hospital in which after 3 days she was dying without her expectation and was able to accept to die, without the expectation of her family and her daughters who live aroad.

Josefina died in the month of May, day 24th.

My dearest beloved Mother,

I just want to tell you from my whole heart that i love you very much and i have always wish to be with you specially in times when you needed someone to comfort you when you are lonely or when you feel alone, when you have pain, fear and worried about your health.

I wish to be with you, to take care of you like you take care of me when i was a child and a teenager.

I haven´t got enough from you since i spent my college away from home and after a few months went abroad. I wish i could tell you how i miss you and wish to spend more nice time together, where we both could travel and visit nice places as you wish.

I want to thank you for being my mother, a such wonderful mother, the qualities you have of being a mother is one of a kind in the whole world.

I wish i could be like you as a mother of my 2 children, which is not easy, i cannot be like you and i admire you my beloved mother.

It is hard not able to tell you this because i was not there in your last moment.

But i keep this in my heart, say it silently and write this hoping you would hear me wherever you are in heaven.

I love you mother.

Josefina´s family extends their whole heartfelt thanks to the whole family,relatives, friends, to everybody who join us in our sorrow of losing their beloved WIFE - MOTHER - GRANDMOTHER.
