Nuk Baby Bottle Sanitation
How to Clean Baby Bottles
Having a new baby at home carries a lot of responsibility and can cause parents a lot of anxiety. Especially first time parents. One of the biggest things we worry about is keeping everything sanitized, especially baby bottles. Take a deep breath and know it's not hard. When you first open baby bottles you want to wash them in soapy hot water or in the dishwasher. After your baby is done drinking his/her bottle rinse it out right away. It's important to do this because when formula hardens inside the bottle and nipple it can be hard to get off. It's just good to get into that habit right off the bat. You want to make sure to get a bottle brush, this will make cleaning the nipples especially a breeze. Even the bottles are really easy when using a bottle brush.
How to Sanitize Bottles
To clean baby bottles either put them in a dishwasher or wash in warm soapy water. After you do this to make sure to really get your bottles, nipples, and rings sanitized boil them in a large pan. Just a couple minutes is enough time.
If you want to just wash them in warm soapy water, just buy a dishpan and use it only for the bottles and nipples.
