Selections of Baby Changing Stations to Choose From - Buy Baby Changing Stations Online

Updated on January 31, 2015

Baby changing stations

The baby changing stations are mainly useful until the time that your baby is still wearing diaper and when you are changing their clothes. There are different kinds of baby changing stations, one type of this is the one which can be mounted in a wall, on a flat surface and you have probably seen them in malls or restaurant bathrooms. They are also differentiated according to the make like steel, wood - organic, plastic or rubber.

In this hub, I  featured selections of baby changing stations which you can buy online.

When I had my baby, I didn't buy this anymore because my sister gave me her diaper changing table which is basically a table drawer where you put the baby when you are changing them.

The baby changing stations can be used anytime of the day and mostly parents placed this in a strategic placed in the house where they can easily access it. At night it is best placed beside the baby. Most parents put it in their room if the baby is rooming in with them and then moved it in the baby room during the day.

Koala Baby Changing Station KB200 - Horizontal

Koala is the leading brand in baby changing stations, it has various features and is mainly attached to the wall in a "hinge to hinge steel". Like other brands it is also approved by the regulatory boards for baby safety concerns. Usually the products goes with some hardware instructions and they are easy to follow. This brand is made of "polyethylene" -- high density plastic. You can choose from different colors like cream, gray white granite and earth colors.

Oeuf Eco-friendly Changing Station - Birch

  • I like this changing diaper station because it is made of wood. It is placed on top of flat surface, like cribs, and it is easy to assemble, holds a weight up to 50 pounds. This is nice because the make is organic. it is best fitted on top of a Oeuf crib or standard crib.

RUBBERMAID -- Baby Changing Station

This is rubbermaid baby changing station and is lighter (25 pounds)  than the wood organic one.

It is kind of style table mounted on the wall for good positioning, and the safety belt can be adjusted. It has "storage shelf, built-in liner storage and diaper bag hooks".

It can be used for babies up to 50 pounds and is approved by the regulatory boards.

The Dream On Me Two In One "Baby Bather and Changing Station Combo"

  • it is convenient because you can also used it for bathign the baby and it has 25 in hose for draining. It is also padded and bathtub capacity is "24 qts". Gos with shelf which you can store store stuff for the baby when changing them, you can choose form different colors, white, pink and blue.
  • The product specification is 31 in. by 18 in. by 38.5 in, and weighs 14 pounds

The "Stainless Steel Baby Changing Station Mounting Type: Surface "

This is a steel made, top of the line baby changing station which is surface mounted, made simple. The surface however is plastic made and is dirt resistance plus it can be cleaned easily. This is shaped specifically to the contour of a baby's body.

In my honest opinion this is best in restaurants and malls. In homes, it is a bit pricey, but for the quality and durability, it is worth it.

Summary

Baby changing stations are either made of plastics, rubber, wood, organic and steel. It can either be mounted and could be placed on top of flat surface like a crib. All of the changing stations products are approved by the regulatory boards for safety. They come in different shapes (horizontal or vertical mounting) and colors. There are selections and you can buy it online for your convenience.

We continue to use our baby changer today, to save up bending down. My partner has serious back problems and I have trauma injuries to my stomach, so bending over all the times is a big problem.

We would have been lost without our changer.

      Great work,

      AJ..

      Hey there Maita,

I am always amazed at the wonderful baby items that are available today.. I always see the koala changing tables in rest rooms and think how nice this would have been when I had my little ones.

I sure have missed you and all my friends on hubpages. I have been nursing an injury which has not allowed me to sit for any length of time. I am glad to see you are still here and pounding out the hubs. Hope all is well. I hope to start back slowly. I have a lot of catching up to do.

      Great hub as always,

      Sage

And I thought a changing table was something that would change kids into something else--like obedient, respectful, studious, grateful and helpful urchins. Do you have a hub on those kinds of tables? =:)

When I was helping to raise my 2 brother and 2 sisters, there was no such thing as a baby changing table. You simply did it whereever you could find space and a little privacy. Parents today are spoiled.

Great hub Prettydarkhorse, I just spent yesterday constructing the baby changing unit. We purchased a Cossatto Easi Peasi Changer. It comes with the bath underneath the changing mat, it looks great and provides loads of space for supplies.

Gone are the days of doing your back in on the floor changing nappies.
