Children rearing Children

Updated on May 29, 2011

Children rearing Children, who will paid the price, when it all goes out of style, yet the multicultural teenagers still making babies .

Does anybody care anymore? about the next generation? Living is way of creating an earthly legacy however, This legacy is becoming a short sighted goal. Where do our children, children future holds? It is wise of us to build an eternal legacy, however, many might say we weren't put on this earth to be remembered, we were put here to prepared for eternity, from a biblical perspective.

children rearing children, I often wondered, about the future of our great grandchildren , it's becoming a style a fashion trendy statement. In the who will paid the price? when it all goes out of style, teenager is becoming more gullible and irresponsible. They new trendy thing is getting pregnant at a young age and trying to outbid each other with enormous "Babies Showers" as the babies fathers just stood there and glance at their watches, In hopes that the big events would end. Who is going to watch over these children, when the teenage mom decided that she had enough, who is going to guide them, nurture, and teach them right from wrong. A recent survey claims that in this country teenager girls get pregnant before she reached the age of twenty.

What's happening to the family unit? children rearing children while the system is contributing to this massive problem. A trendy style apparently not a wonderful life style, only imitation of friends and celebrities,

Am I the only person worried about our grandchildren future. Who is captivating the minds of this generation?

Celebrities, or the media, to a point that the majority of our families have lost a grip on their teenagers sons and daughters, to the influential celebrities, sculpturing our children minds.

and when they fail the Judges sentence them to upscale rehabilittion centers.

Instead of laws to committed to the those center, enforce strict laws to keep them off the street, late at night, close all clubs and bars during the week, enforced curfew , no children after hours on the street, close all satellite , broadcasting , let the families sit together for dinner.

Can you imagine a life without Hollywood.... envision a life like "Little house on the Prairie for our children, when the young's mind was innocent and drug free, I welcomed the good old days.

The phenomena that I witnessed is that children are getting smarter and smarter with easy access to information online, from geeky peers, etc. Sometimes the parents are still lingering on traditional mindset and "logics" that worked in the past, and that could somehow blocked the way to move forward, to evolve with the changes.

In all that smartness and intelligence, they probably lack the most important thing called "emotional intelligence" or "authenticity" (being who you really are without being pulled into what everybody is doing).

In Rome, do as Romans do (but you are still your own self in every way).

I feel the education should start at home, but we know that is not always the case. I worked with many children in the reading program in a public school--all races--and most were being raised by their grandparents--especially the grandmother.

We need programs setup by the people of each community that will benefit our children of today. We do not need the government with their rules---and attitudes.

I suggest start a neighbor group and contact people with money like'basketball, football and etc. players who came from neighborhoods like the ones you are trying to help. This will be a job for the strong, but if you get a lot of support--it can happen.

Just the opinion of an old country girl.

Love your Hubs, don't stop writing.

Cheese puffs and little house on the prairie!!! Good choice!!!

When I see 14 and 16 year old children hanging out on the square with their babies, I just don't have words for that. I'm 45 and most of my 40+ friends are already grandparents. And the children who have children are also getting younger every day. I know somebody who's daughter is 11 years of age and is expecting a baby. The father is a 13 year old boy. Again, no words.

      Good hub and voted up!!!

This is an awesome spectacular hub. I love it and agree with you. Children making children, grandmothers are in their early 30's now some younger what a shame.

It's a trend and most young people wants to be a kimora lee or a rihanna a beyonce and jayz a 50 cents etc. They don't study that these stars have money to do the filt they do and about their futures al they care about is having a man to call their man.

Stars today have no morals to follow if i can call 5 now a days it maybe plenty. Live any old wishy washy life and people see them as role models and they dispise the real role models

This world has gone crazy on sex and soon toddlers may start having because parents lose all sense of morality and they do those things on front children set no example and allow anything in their homes.

God have no other choice than to burn this wicked evil corrupt world it's worst than soddom the stench is stinking in His nostrils now. May he have mercy on this generation
