History of the Goody family
There's a very long proud history of the Goody family which goes all the way back to the period of this country's civil war. Most of us can't read or write, so our parents just gave us all numbers for our names. That's how I became to be known as Goody7. Most of the Goodys who didn't end up serving time in the county poky, ended up living strong outstanding lives in our little hick town. Some worked in the textile mills, and others sold the clothes, stolen out of those mills in road side stands down highway 58. We tried to model our modern day lives from television shows like the green acres, Beverly hillbillys, and petticoat junction, which hasn't worked out so well. There's even 3 of us who almost finished the 5th grade and can read and write and we're spreading our vast knowledge across the hub pages (Goody5 through Goody7). I'm going to try to make this hub into a living history of the Goody family, but so far that's easier said then done. But I'll keep thinking real hard and see what I can come up with down the road. So until then it looks like you just wasted a few moments of your time reading this, and no you can't get that time back, cause us Goodys don't give refunds. But if you are ever out in the western end of the state of Virginia, and you see a little stand on the side of the road selling socks, stop on in cause it's probably a cousin of mine, and they really need your business. You all come back now.
