Life is like stock market indices. One day they reach new peaks, the other day they tumble to ground. In the real life too, you are the happiest person one day, you feel terribly depressed and feel you are the unluckiest person on the earth the other day. Because life is an amalgamation of joy and sorrow.

But I can assure you certainly, there are good days ahead for everyone who can stand in the battle field of life.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger:
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger:

1. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger:

Did you ever wonder what is the meaning behind this great quote by German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche?

Generally, the popular belief is that sorrows, miseries, traumatic experiences, difficulties make us weak.

It may appear ironical, but the truth is they make us stronger..

Japan, was hit by the nuclear bomb in the Second World War. Any one who watched the huge loss of lives and property couldn't find a ray of hope for that country in near future. But contrary to everyone's expectations, it made a turn around, with consistent efforts and became a global leader.

2. Life is not always beautiful:

If you have watched Roberto Benigni's greatest Italian movie "Life is beautiful",you would have understood, at the end of the movie "Life is not always beautiful, yet we have to go on".The protagonist of the movie wonderfully shows us that life has sorrows as well as joyful moments.

I am not a pessimist, but I want everyone to understand "Life is not always beautiful, yet we have to go on". You can inculcate this attitude by

  • Knowing about people, their experiences, how they could overcome their misfortunes .
  • Reading literature ( for example Thomas Hardy's "Mayor of Casterbridge" )

When we could learn, others have also faced terrible difficulties like us and more than us, we certainly get some momentary relief.

3. Be flexible:

Remember the quote of Charles Darwin

"It's not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change."

So be adaptable to change, be flexible.

When you are under difficulties, sorrows, you need to be flexible.

I can remind you the popular example of Willow and Oak.

As all we know, under a fierce storm, the willow simply bends and keeps its existence. but the inflexible, arrogant Oak is swept away by the storm,

Well, by changing yourself, you don't need to change your core values. By retaining the core values you can take the other necessary changes.

4. Keep yourself motivated:

Unfortunately, motivation is a fuel that is consumed quickly and becomes empty every now and then. So, it should be replenished frequently..

Who will refuel your tank?

No one, but you. You have to do the task of motivating yourself now and then.

I have given you few little tips to keep yourself motivated. You can add some more from your own experience, because you know, what works best for you.

  • Keep a motivational wallpaper on your PC.

But here the downside is, if you keep a wallpaper for long time, the influence of it on you is reduced, due to familiarity. So the best way is make a collection of motivational wallpapers and keep them changed automatically after a certain duration of time.

  • Listen to motivational songs

keep a collection of inspirational songs and listen to them often.

5.This too shall pass:

No difficulty on earth is forever.

It has a certain life span. All you need is having courage to cope with it during that period.

But some people take their miseries too seriously and feel depressed all the time, through out their life.

Have courage, believe you can overcome, whatever is bothering you.

Keep telling you positive things.

Never let even one negative thought enter into your mind.
