I Should Be Satisfied

Updated on May 4, 2015

Is It Boredom

A daily routine; wake up at 6:00 in the morning brush my daughters hair and then put her on the school bus, drop my other kid off at high school, go back home take a shower and quietly clean up whatever I can without making too much noise because the baby and his daddy are still sleeping.

Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. are the times that the baby and his dad should be waking up, once they wake up I cook breakfast and we eat. Sometime after baby and daddy take a shower while they shower I clean up whatever needs cleaning and then daddy calls for my assistance to take the baby out of the shower and I get him dressed. At this time we go to the market if I need groceries if not we take the baby to the park but if it’s too hot out we stay home. By this time it is 1:00 in the afternoon and I make daddy’s lunch for work because he leaves at 3:00p.m. I won’t have time to do it right before because I am cooking food for the kids and they get home at 2:20 and I pick up the other at 2:45. When I get back home from picking up my high school student daddy takes off for work.

I feed all three kids and myself, then attend to the baby and entertain him or sit with him most of the days this is nap time for him so I’ll put him to sleep. While he sleeps I clean up more or check my email ask my daughter if she has homework and that’s about it. Sometimes I want to get creative so I’ll make something with my sewing machine or rearrange some furniture in the house or on the patio. When the baby wakes up I give him a snack and usually take him to the park and then go back home and he’ll play some more. Yeah I’m not even motivated to finish this because I’m getting bored just writing this.

What I Always Wanted

Always wanted to be a stay at home mom so I can raise my children the way I want. I didn't really get the chance to do that with my two first kids that are now 17 and 14 years old but I get to do that with my baby boy who is almost 2 years old. I love this boy so much he is everything I always wanted for a little boy.

Assistant

I do have a job it's an assistant manager in a mobile home park but that itself I must say is such a boring job, hey but it's a job. I basically fill in for the manager on his days off and answer the company cell phone. Oh yeah and open and close the clubhouse

Overall

Well the best thing I do get from this is being able to raise my son the way I want and see my kids grow up. I must say that it is worth whatever weird feelings I seem to acquire, after all. I hope it's just a phase that I'm going through.
