List of Mom Blogs

Updated on October 18, 2012

It's a little known fact that stay at home mom's are more then likely the ones with the best blogs. What else do they have to do (besides cleaning house, chasing kids, cleaning house, making food, cleaning house, teaching kids, grocery shopping, cleaning house and chasing kids). I have to admit, I'm a stay at home mom. I have two blogs (neither of which get used very often) and of course a hub pages which is way cooler then a blog (in my opinion). Because I have a little free time now that the kids are all in school I have been catching up on my blogger friends and enjoying their blogs. Here are a few of my favorite Mom Blogs!

Queenie Jeannie

Jeannie's Happy World is an amazing blog because she does homemade cards and crafts. I personally know Queenie Jeannie and she is the sweetest most kind hearted friend in the world. She lives overseas in Germany now and blogs about all her fun adventures and travels. It is her personal blog so there are a lot of things about Princess Bella (her daughter) and the rest of her family. She also makes homemade cards!!! The cards she makes are incredible! They are always a one of a kind, very detailed, and they even match! One day I hope to be as great as she is at them! She does Monday Monet Moments and LOL Caturdays that can change your mood just by looking at the pictures. Jeannie is an all around, has a little of everything, type of blogger. One of the BEST and my all time favorite!!!

Turning Stones Blog

Turning Stones Blog has all kinds of great ideas. She is a mother of 5 and has amazing organizational skills. She is very crafty in making jewelry of all sorts. My all time favorite was the frame she turned into this great little artsy frame that says "Be a fruit loop in a bowl full of cheerios". How cute would that be hanging in a kids room. She has tons of Halloween posts and decorating ideas. Although this blog hasn't been updated since December 2011 it is still an all around GREAT blog with so many wonderful ideas!

Princess Piggies

Princess Piggies is a blog all about pigtails and braids and pony tales! I have two girls, only one of which lets me do stuff to her hair and she loves all these ideas. I've tried a few and love doing them. They all come with very easy to follow instructions and pictures telling what to do, how it is supposed to look and the amazing finished product! If you have little girls who let you do awesome stuff to their hair, this is definitely the Mommy blog for you!

Read Write Sing A Kindergarten Story

Read Write Sing is a kindergarten story blog. It's all about the life of a kindergarten teacher. Chrissy is a mother of four and has been teaching for 15 years, the last 8 years being in kindergarten. I'm a mother of three, and each one of my kids have followed the other in school. My oldest is in 2nd grade, I have a 1st grader and my youngest is in Kindergarten now. I love her blog and all it has in it. She has great ideas for charts and calenders. I also love all the books she has listed.

Work In Progress Kits

Work in Progress Kits {the blog} has everything from recipes to classes to monthly and page kits for scrapbooking. The author is a mother of three and loves to scrapbook, garden, take photographs and sing with wild abandon in the car with the windows rolled down. She is a great writer in her blogs and explains everything with detail. Her monthly kits are for sale and they include paper, stickers, mini posters, tape, rosettes and twine. There are so many things you can do with her kits. The warm toasted marshmallow S'more bars she made in her recipe section are so incredible!

Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas

Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas is a great blog with tons of arts and craft stuff. She just posted about monster books and my favorite of all time was There's a monster at the end of this book. Her blog has a learning center with the Dolch Sight Word Lists and lots of websites for coloring pages and learning areas. There are so many craft ideas on her blog that it's hard to know where to start. My kids love the Drawing With Scissors craft she did. You just let the kids cut out different shapes on different color paper and then they glue them on to a paper making a picture. Brilliant idea!

Katie's Creatively Living

Creatively Living . . . .outside the box is a blog all about home projects and craft things for around the home. She is a mother of 5 who home schools and is obsessed with anything design or decor related. She has incredible organizational skills and knows exactly how to make something like an ordinary tree branch look incredible in her decorating. Her Halloween mantle is a favorite of mine! She does sewing too! Like the anniversary shirt revamp and curtains for the nursery. Katie's blog has just about everything and many many wonderful ideas!

Thrifty Crafty Girl

Thrifty Crafty Girls blog is just that, thrifty and crafty. Her blog is FULL of craft ideas that are super simple and wonderful to do. She is working on her 31 days of Halloween right now and those ideas are amazing! I also LOVE her Apocalypse Monday series she did. It's all about what you can use when that dreaded Zombie Apocalypse happens. She's brilliant (and extremely hilarious)!!!!

CassyLu1981 (My own personal blogs)

Life in Italy - This blog is all about our lives in Italy. All the fun stuff we got to see and do while we lived in Vicenza. There's posts on Rome, Pisa, Livorno, Verona, Venice and many more cities. The Christmas Markets and Chocolate Festivals were to die for! I miss Italy every day so it's great for me to have this to go back to!

I don't have a clue..... - Is a blog I started once we got back stateside. I haven't done a whole lot in it as of yet (because I found HubPages and would rather be hubbing than blogging) but I'm going to try and keep up with it better.

(I couldn't have a Hub about Mom Blogs without throwing mine in there too LOL)

There ya have it, my top Mom Blogs. Their ideas have inspired me and helped me in many things I have done in and around my home. Great job Mommy Bloggers!!!!!
