      You make some great points here. Some people should really consider how they would feel if they were named some of the names out there... like Apple, or Blue Ivy, or North. Haha. It seems like celebrities can get away with anything though... Anyway, great hub!

      Thanks for reading, Louise Lately! I have to agree that Wilma will forever be linked to the Flinstones. It's always sad when a name you like becomes famous in a way that makes it hard to use.

      I like the name Wilma - unfortunately it brings back memories of 'the Flintstones'...but it's pretty all the same. I used to be a substitute teacher at a school once and some of the kids' names were pretty outlandish, such as Charisma, Destiny and The Angel (!) - some parents just don't consider the child's best interest.
