Ready set Reset

Hey everyone it is your amazing friend Teniecka Drake! Oh yes, I am back to share with you thoughts and encourage you at the same time. "Can you do that Teniecka(you may ask yourself)?" Of course I can besides when I encourage you my readers. Guess what I am also encouraging myself. I am not sure if I want to call myself a genuine writer yet?

Let me stop going off on tangent. We are here or rather I am sharing with you. It is time to reset. What I mean by that is taken on way too much. We watch other people who share how they overcame challenges. Yet, we do not know truly what they had to endure. For me I was so gunho to do this non- profit called Loving Arms for Families, Inc(LAFF,Inc for short).

It started to stress me out. My sister was very blunt with me. She said "you are trying to help others but, does it make you money?"

Honestly, no I spent $2900 and then another almost $500 and another $100 and just more. I kept thinking wow. I know it takes money to make money. It just made me so frustrated. I have decided to reset my priorities.

Often we need to do that with some goals and dreams we have. That does not mean give up. That just means it may not be quite the right time.

If you find yourself wanting to do something. Make sure you set your priorities in order. Yes there are risks that obviously are going to happen. I am willing to take risks. At the same time having 4 children and two with special needs. I cannot afford to be overly risky and jepodarize not providing food and shelter for them.

Being homeless twice was not fun. Making sure I do my best to avoid that is my goal. Do not let your dreams go. However; if you need to lay it down for a moment do so. Watching all the gurus and motivational speakers can help. Find other ways to get your message out and not hurt yourself or your family. That is all I wanted to share with you all.
