The day that my world changed, and everything went up in smoke...
A picture says a thousand words...
The Beginning...
7:00 AM We began the day like most. We dressed, woke the children up and got them dressed and fed. We had two jobs to do that day so we were taking our 6 children to nanny's house. We fed the horse and the chickens, turned off all the lights, made sure everything was unplugged and the wood stove was closed.
8:00 AM We dropped the children off at my mother-in-laws, said our good-byes and started working. We work for my father-in-law's small business "The Hardly Able Carriage Company" providing horse drawn wagon and carriage rides in the local area.
11:00 AM We drove to a church that day to surprise the Sunday school children with Santa, Mrs. Claus and horse drawn carriage rides. We had a ton of fun, made many children and adults smile and finished that job. We had another job later that day at 6pm, so we decided to do some last minute Christmas shopping until the next event.
3:00PM We arrived at the mall to shop for last minute Christmas presents.
3:05PM My neighbor called crying, "I don't know how to tell you this but your house is on fire, the jeep is on fire, its all on fire..."
