Your Failure to Act Makes You an Easy Target for Criminals
Being A Victim
Although a lot of the times I was a victim, violence came from unknowing individuals or when I initiated contact in trying to protect others who were weaker. Most of the time, it came from someone I knew or a family member.
In hindsight, I can look back and use what I have learned since then to help others in their life. I have collected a small, but informational list of where a self defensive tool might come into good use. Not having at least a can of pepper spray could mean the difference between a theft, a beating or rape, or even your life.
Why Am I Anxious To Share This With You?
I am a Christian. I am not a perfect Christian. I have had many times in my past where I could have interjected my past experiences to others who suffered from being a victim but I didn't. It wasn't until a few weeks ago, I was visiting a church in Clinton, Tennessee, when the Pastor brought a message that essentially was taken by me as "The Devil will keep you from telling others about your experience in order to pull you down, or beat you down. When you fail to tell others, the Devil wins."
Share Your Knowledge
You might know a lot about finances, or about being a Mom or Dad, or in my case, self defense. Don't keep this information to yourself. You may think it is so trivial, you don't feel like sharing it with others, but trust me, people can use it. When you don't share your knowledge so others can learn from your mistakes, the Devil wins.
