I've been to my share of baby showers, being a mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, so I haved attended many, many baby showers. They are lovely little parties with punch and cookies or sometimes pretty little sandwichs and coffee or tea. But the best part is watching the mom-to-be open all her lovely new things for her new baby.

Years ago mom's didn't find out what they were going to have. A boy? or maybe a girl? Back then the gift items would have to remain gender neutral so you saw lots of yellows and greens. In today's world the new mom's usually know what they are having so it is much easier to shop for clothes.
