my baby is suffering from a rash
my baby is suffering from a rash that according to her pedia was just a heat rash and gave us an ointment to treat it. it's been two weeks now but nothing has changed, she's still itchy. do we need to do a blood test?
You didn't say where the rash is, but a doctor once told me that the majority of itchy rashes are fungal and babies are prone to fungal infections. You could try a mother and baby antifungal cream like Canesten but obviously check with the pharmacist or doctor first.

Which do you think is better when changing your baby? Powder or an ointment such as A&D or Desitin?I personally prefer ointments but some parents believe powder is the way to go. What do you think?

I have a rash and the itch won't go away. I tried hydrocortosone and it's still itchy
