Do you use a barrier cream regularly when you use Disposable Nappies on your bab

    Do you use a barrier cream regularly when you use Disposable Nappies on your baby?

    You shouldn't need to. In fact, I think it's much better for baby if you don't. Of course, you need to be sure that you are changing them frequently to prevent diaper rash.

    I guess the answer to your question relies upon your baby.  I usually do not use creams unless there is some diaper or other rash.  Now powder - that another story.  I like to put a little powder in my hand and carefully (without letting it get into the air and baby's nose) apply.  But that is my thing, you have to find what works best for you and your baby.

    I never did, the newer absorbent diapers really pull the dampness away from their bottoms.  But they should still be changed regularly.
