Do you mean they are a Kleptomaniac, if so then it is part of the OCD spectrum and it may be worth seeking professional Help before they end up in trouble with the law.
he use to stealing something since elementary school and keep doing until now, concern he's now almost 21 years old.
we as a family always remembering and taught him that he will got another different reaction if he started to stealing outside the house area (another neighbourhood) including that he might get in trouble with law, but he never listen.
we surrender and the best thing i can do is lock every room and hide the key.
